Dominica, Martinique and Mustique), with nine Essays using the Key Plate dull lilac printed background with WINDWARD ISLANDS and Duty Plate hand-painted on each; with ½ d. turquoise & Chinese white, 1 d. in carmine & Chinese white, 2 d. in dull blue & Chinese white, 2½ d. in ultramarine & Chinese white, 3 d. lilac, mauve & Chinese white, 4 d. in orange & Chinese white, 6 d. in brown & Chinese white, 9 d. in black & Chinese white, 8 d. in red-brown & Chinese white; five Essays using the Key Plate dull green printed background with 1 s. in pale purple & Chinese white, 2 s. in ultramarine & Chinese white, 5 s. in orange & Chinese white, 10 s. in red-brown & Chinese white and £ 1 in carmine & Chinese white.
