Reverse with array of transits including 'Potchefstroom' (Oct 15), London (Nov 12) in red and thence via Suez with SEA POST OFFICE / E cds (Nov 21) and carried on the Steamer 'Gwalior' to Bombay. Gudur-Nellore arrival cds (Dec 6). Underpaid on despatch at 1 shilling - a double rate cover should have been 20d. = 1/8d. and annotated '8' in red crayon replaced by London "10d." Due marking in black. Charged with this deficincy and a further 10d. for the unpaid rate from GB to India (5d. for double rate) due on arrival with OVERLAND POSTAGE DUE handstamp with manuscript "17 annas" to pay.
