    "V.R.Transvaal" Printings on coloured papers 1879 (Aug-Sept): Overprint Type 16a, the collection on leaves with imperforate 1 d. red on yellow or orange unused (8) including two pairs, used examples (6) incl. a vertical pair, 3 d. mauve on green with unused (8) incl. a pair and a block of four, used examples (2) and a used example showing variety "Small "" in "Transvaal", 3 d. mauve on blue unused (2), one with slanting 'R' variety and a third unused example with misplaced overprint; also four used examples, one of which appears to have fine roulettes; fine rouletted 15½ 1 d. red on orange unused and used. A scarce and attractive assembly (27 items) Gi = £ 3'250+.
