Celliers, perforated 12 1883 (April 5): 1 d. black, 3 d. pale chestnut and 1878/80 6 d. olive-black all used on attractive 1884 cover from Kaap Goldfields (Kaapsche Hoop) to Ealing, London tied by circular 'Z.A.R.' obliterators struck in violet with circular 'K. KOOP GOUDVELDEN' cds below (July 14) in same ink. Reverse with 'Pretoria / Transvaal' transit in black (July 18), 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' cds (July 29) and London arrival (Aug 25) in red. Cover #42 in the Jorgensen census. A delightful mixed issue franking in choice quality.
