    1888: Essays for the Centennial Issue, 4 d. value, two blocks of four for unadopted designs with 'N. S. WALES' at top and curved 'One Hundred Years' below FOUR and PENCE value, corners filled with 'NSW4', each block pin perforated, one in brown with margin hinged back into place and the other in orange (imperforate at top) printed on thick white ungummed paper. Most unusual and very scarce Essays.
