    1888/89: Centennial Colour Trial Proofs (6), all in imperforate ungummed unwmk.'d horizontal pairs, with 1 d. in brown, 2 d. Emu in black, 4 d. Cook in orange, 6 d. in deep brown, 8 d. Lyrebird in green and 1 s. Kangaroo in bluish-grey, fresh and fine, minor staining from the reverse as usual but rare and most appealing Proofs.
