    1849: First Day Cover 20 c. black, a fine example with three large margins all round and right vertical margin close but clear of the design, applied to reverse of entire letter (dated inside December 31) from Paris to Mirepoix. The front panel with red manuscript "Affranchie au dos" and the front panel and adhesive cancelled by Paris "Bureau Centrale / (60" datestamp "1 JANV. 49" in red and lightly tied again on arrival with "Mirepoix" datestamp in black.
