    Chilean Occupation 1881: Overprinted 'UPU / Plata / Lima' in oval, covers (6) with Feb 1881 single rate cover to Paris (early usage), June and November 1881 single rate covers to USA each franked at 11 centavos, dramatic triple rate September 1881 cover to Paris franked at 33 c.  and a remarkable if somewhat battered 'Book Post' June 1882 mixed issue franking cover to Seebeck in New York at 5 times rate franked by 1 c. green (12) and 'Peru' optd. 2 c. rose (9). Condition varies but a scarce group.
