    1860: 1 p. red, used example in a rich deep shade, just touched at top, on January 1862 cover from Iquique to Lima, un-cancelled on despatch and tied by fine LIMA / QUINTA / DISTRIBUC handstamp in black (Lamy & Rinck fig. 52 = 70 pts.). A scarce and most attractive cover, the sole example of this usage we have recorded.
