    1842 (Sept 29): Cover sent registered to Portoviejo struck with oval CUENCA / DE / OFFICIO and framed oval manuscript filled 'Certificacion à Cuenca / Salio en 29 Sett. 1842', both in red. Docketing of sender and receiver on reverse. Manuscript rate '3' reales on front panel which has some staining, nevertheless a rare cover.
