    10 kopek black 'Porto Stempel' postal stationery envelope, Type II, wmk. 4 with 'LJ S & A', a fine used example to St. Petersburg, Russia with excellent impression. Reverse with arrival handstamp (Oct 29) in black. Rare and very fine - the usage of these envelopes to Russia was confined to a period from Jan 22, 1849 to December 1849 only. Cert. M. Ossa (1986) Facit = unpriced.
