    British P.O. in Suez 1868 (March 14): Cover to the Survey Department, Ceylon franked by Great Britain 1867 6 d. lilac (2) tied by BO2 obliterators with SUEZ single ring datestamp of despatch below in black, reverse with 'Galle / Unpaid' and 'Colombo / Unpaid' cds's (April 1) and readdressed to Dimbula with 'Unpaid' cds of the following day and manuscript '1d.' charge to pay. Minor imperfections but an unusual destination cover.
