    Ecuador 1928 (Oct. 10): Registered cover from Esmaraldas to Hamburg-Altona franked with vertical pair of 1928 Postal Tax stamp 20 c. bister brown in combination with 'Provisional' Scadta 3 s. on 60 c. brown and registration stamp 1 s. on 20 c. grey tied by Scadta Ecuador datestamps with framed 'Recomendado Esmeraldas' and two line 'Alemania/Germany' cachets alongside, sent via "Barranquilla 11.X.1928" to "New York 10.23.1928" with arrival in "Altona Blankenese -2.11.28". Fine commercial usage.
