    1861: 430 r. yellow, superb imperforate pair used on 1870 double rate cover to Bologna, Italy endorsed 'per La Plata' (Royal Mail Steamship) and tied by segmented cork handstamps in black with 'Rio De Janeiro' despatch cds alongside (July 23). Framed 'PD' at right in red and reverse with Bologna arrival cds (Aug 18) in black. One side flap missing but an exceedingly rare multiple of this adhesive on letter.
