    Third Suakin Expedition 1896: India 1 a. on 9 pi. red Soldiers' and Seamen's envelope, a used example to Bombay cancelled at the Egyptian Civil Post Office with SAWAKIN datestamp (21.6) in black from a Sergeant in the Ordnance Dept. Countersigned at left and struck with 'Overland Postage Due / As. 5' as not mailed from the Military P.O. Reverse with Suez cds, 'Sea Post Office / A' cds (July 14) and Colaba, Bombay arrival cds (July 19). Also a similar cover from same correspondence correctly mailed at BASE OFFICE / B (July 1, 1896) and arriving in Colaba on July 18. A fine and most unusual pair.
