    Dongola 1880: Cover to London franked by 1879 1 pi. rose tied by POSTE EGIZIANE / DONGOLA arabic dated cds in black (Dec 11), repeated strike alongside at left (Stagg fig. 8/ESC type V-4). The datestamp had not been cleaned and it appears somewhat fuzzy, the envelope with slight closed tear at right. London arrival cds (Dec 29) on reverse of a rare cover. Signed Todd AIEP.
