    Essay by Charles Skipper & East of London for the 1872 issue, taken from the Great Britain line engraved issues with SPECIMEN at top and CS&E in the corner letters, perforated 14 and printed in deep blue with Cérès head vignette on engine turned background. Also some later examples of CS&E's work imperf. in red, blue (block of four) and a perforated example lithographically produced in brown. Fine page and scarce, illustrated in Smith on page 185 Nile Post E55 var.
