POSTE EGIZIANE / CAIRO datestamps (Nov 10), being a double weight letter for Egypt (above 10 grams), transferred to Italian P.O. franked by 1863 40 c. carmine tied by 234 dotted lozenge with 'Alessandria D'Egitto / Poste Italiane' cds (same day) - single rate for Italy (under 15 grams). Cover with faults but rare, one of the few this describer has recorded.
