    1868: 1 kop. brown and 5 kop. blue, perf. 11½, used on 1872 entire letter endorsed 'par Vapeur Russe' to Port Said, tied by Alexandria '785' lozenge of dots handstamps in blue. Rare PORT-SAID Russian P.O. cds of arrival on front (Dec 10) and reverse with equally rare ROPIT / ALEXANDRIA AGENCY datestamp of despatch (9/12) also in blue. The 1 kop. with slight graze at top right otherwise fresh and fine, a rare entire. Illustrated in Smith on Colour Plate 1.
