    1919: Cover to Thorshavn franked by Denmark 4 ö. blue perf. 14½, four diagonally bisected examples, used to over-pay the 7 öre local rate, each tied by 'Thorshavn' datestamps (20.1.1919) in black. Minor aging on one or two perforations but a most unusual franking. Cert. Witschi (1996) Facit = 8'000 skr.
