    1867 (Sept 12): Cover from New Zealand bearing 1867 6 d. red-brown (2) one with minor imperfection at top right, used on cover from Auckland to Saugor, India to a Doctor in the Bengal Lancers, carried on the 'Geelong'. Reverse with extremely rare square 'No. 2 / C.S.P. / RAIL OFFICE' datestamp and further strike of same square type 'No. 3 / C.S.P. / RAIL OFFICE' both in black (Jal Cooper 21a, 22b) and eventual arrival datestamps. Rare as a New Zealand destination cover and possibly even rarer as an Indian Railway Office postmark cover.
