    Type 9. 1911: UK Aerial Post green special postcard mailed with Edward VII and George V ½ d. values tied by special datestamp (Sept 9) in black, with message 'first postcard by aeroplane, trust it will fly safely'. Card addressed to Bombay and carried on the 'Isis' and 'Mamora' to Aden, struck on reverse with SEA POST OFFICE / B / BOMBAY-ADEN cds (Sept 24) at Aden and carried by 'Salsette' to Bombay. Front with Belgaum eventual arrival cds (Oct 1). Few faults due to journey but scarce.
