    Type 3. 1879: Cover to Bombay franked by single 1876 8 d. orange, tied by 'Sydenham S.O. / 25' duplex (July 24) in black. Reverse with circular SEA POST OFFIOL / C datestamp error (Jan 31) applied in black at Suez and carried by the 'Pekin' arriving Bombay on October 25. Envelope thin with edge imperfections and opened for exhibit display but scarce and most unusual, see the handbook on page 33 for this scarce variation.
