    Type 2. 1872: Cover to Bombay at 9 d. rate via Southampton, franked by single 1867 9 d. straw pl. 4 tied by bold 'London / WC 51' duplex (July 24). Reverse with fine oval SEA POST OFFICE / A datestamp (Aug 9) struck in blue at Suez. Carried on the 'Columbian' arriving Bombay August 20. Cover with a few imperfections but displays well, illustrated in the handbook on page 26.
