    Type 1B. 1869: Cover to Allahabad via Marseilles at 1 s. 1 d. rate, franked by 1 d. red and 1867 1 s. green pl. 4 tied by 'Edinburgh /131' duplexes. Reverse with fine oval SEA POST OFFICE / C datestamp (Jan 2, 1870) applied in black at Suez. Carried on 'Behar' arriving Bombay on January 16, with Allahabad cds's in red and black (Jan 19) and re-addressed with fair strike of 'Lieutenant General's Camp' datestamp of receipt (Jan 20). Illustrated in the handbook on page 20.
