    Prussia 1863 (Oct 26): Cover from Melbourne to Johannesdorf, Prussia endorsed 'via Southampton', franked by Victoria 1861 2 d. brown-lilac and 1863/74 laureated 4 d. rose in a horizontal strip of three, all tied by 'Melbourne / Victoria' duplexes in black. Carried on the P&O 'Bombay', to Galle, on the 'Nemesis' to Suez and thence on the 'Pera'. Red 'London / Paid' transit cds (Dec 18) on front and circular 'Aus England Per Aachen / Franco' below and arrival cds on reverse of a fine cover (#17 in the Palmer Census).
