    Netherlands 1875 (Sept 7): Cover to Amsterdam, Netherlands via Brindisi, franked by laureated 1863/81 3 d. orange and 6 d. blue (three examples, one with slight corner fault), all tied by Melbourne duplexes. The 1/9d. franking represents the ½ ounce rate + 6d. for the Late Fee charge. Backstamped Brindisi (Oct 21) and Amsterdam (Oct 24). Despite minor faults, a scarce cover. Illustrated in Palmer on page 144.
