    India 1864 (June 20): Soldier's Letter from a member of the Royal Fusiliers franked by 1860 8 p. purple on white paper, vertical pair, used from Ferozepore to South Yarra, Victoria; tied by Feroze duplex with framed INDIA / PAID at left in red. Missent and travelling via London (July 27) with red datestamp on front, thence on the P& O 'Delta' to Suez and from there carried on the 'Bengal'. Reverse with Melbourne cds in blue (Oct 13) and South Yarra arrival cds. An unusual cover to an extremely scarce destination for Indian Soldier's mail.
