    Great Britain 1879 (Feb 18): Soldier's concession rate cover from London to Kooringa, South Australia from a Sergt. Major in the Royal Engineers, franked by 1858 1 d. red pl. 111 tied by London / SW30 duplex in black. Carried on the P&O Steamer 'Bangalore' and thence on the 'Surat', from Suez and the 'Avoca' from Galle with Adelaide cds of receipt (April 11). Backstamped at Kooringa (April 12). A rare and fine cover. Cert. BPA (2011).
