    1904 (Oct. 9): Russian Balloon Troops, picture postcard showing start of a Military Balloon with attached Union Jack, written by an Officer and addressed to the German Major Moedebeck in Graudenz / Germany, the editor of the "Illustrierte Aeronautische Mitteilungen". From 1899 onwards Russian Military built up a Balloon unit in the Fortress at Jablonna near Warsaw. A scarce original photocard.
