    1927 (Sept 7): Centenary of Marcelin Berthelot, 90 c. carmine; the specialised collection on leaves with Artist's Proofs in brown and in deep blue (both signed by designer Abel Mignon), typographed Proofs in black, bright blue, mauve and vermilion, rare engraved Proofs in black, brown (on Japon paper) and in deep indigo, further example in 'rouge capucine' in Miniature Sheet format and a letter-press 'Epreuve deluxe' sheet.
