    1871: ½ r. blue on blued paper, six single examples used on 1871 folded legal cover to Quito in combination with touched 1866 4 r. carmine tied by seven strikes of the IBARRA / FRANCA datestamp (Oct 14) in red. Manuscript '14 oz.' weight notation and thus correctly franked at 7 reales. Some creasing but a dramatic and rare franking. Cert. Moorhouse (2014).
