    1865: 1 r. yellow, the wonderful vertical strip of ten, marginal from right side of sheet and showing the marginal rule on three sides, used on legal cover to Ambato, each stamp cancelled by fine strike of circular Floral handstamps in black applied at PELILEO. Manuscript '1 L 37 7/8 oz.' at upper right corresponding to the 10 reales rate. The cover and the strip affected by a couple of file folds and slightly torn between fifth and sixth stamps but an exceptional and very rare cover. Cert. Moorhouse (2014).
