    10 c. vermilion, a good example with rough touched to large margins all round, used on undated large part entire letter to Doña Margarita Rojas de Ayala in San Miguel, tied by Manila datestamp in watery blue ink. A rare stamp on letter.

    Note: Doña Margarita Rojas de Ayala was the founder of La Concordia College in Manila. The late lamented artist, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, was a descendent of this family.
