    ½ r. blue on white paper, no wmk., horizontal pair with large margins all round, used on small 1858 envelope to France cancelled by network handstamp in black; double ring 'Cuba' despatch cds in blue at right (May 8) and St. Jean de Luz entry mark in red alongside (April 5). Charged '5' decimés handstruck on delivery.  Minor corner bend to adhesives but a charming cover.
