    1861 (Probably issued April 1862): 8 reales green on red-brown, 'Queretaro' District name overprint, a fine mint horizontal strip of three, with large margins all round (marginal from left of sheet) and of fine delicate colour, large part original gum. 2'640 of the 8 r. stamps (both colours) were invoiced to Queretaro with 305 returned. A rarity. Cert Mepsi (1985) Scott = $ 1'500+.
