    Apam 8 r. black on red-brown, 2 r. black on rose, horizontal pair of ½ r. black on buff (right hand example with small hole but showing stitch watermark), all with Apam District name overprint in black and with ample to large margins, used on large 1862 folded Lottery cover to Mexico City, each stamp cancelled by 'star' pen-crosses in manuscript, with manuscript 'Otumba Dic. 18 de 1862' above. An outstanding combination of adhesives paying an 11 reales rate, this cover being the sole recorded usage of an 8 reales used in the Apam District. Cert. Mepsi (1976).
