    Guanajuato 1 r. black on green, large 'Guanajuato' overprint, fine example used on April 2, 1864 entire letter from Irapuato to Guanajuato, tied by bold strike of circular CORREOS / YRAPUATO negative handstamp (Schatzkes fig. 497) in black. Cancellation un-recorded by Schatzkes / Schimmer on this issue, the large Guanajuato overprint only being used on the 1861 Hidalgo's during April and May 1864. A fine and rare entire.
