    Aguascalientes 1 r. black on green, District overprint 'Aguascaltes.', a fine used pair cancelled by '0' mute handstamps (Schatzkes fig. 12) in black. Scarce: the abbreviated District name was only applied to the 400 stamps in the last shipment (prior to the Eagle issue) of February 13, 1864.
