    Vera Cruz 8 r. violet, two fine single examples of rich colour, overlapped by 4 r. carmine, overlapping 2 r. emerald and ½ r. blue, all used on delightful piece, tied by two complete strikes of oval VERA CURZ datestamp (Schatzkes fig. 1744) in black dated 31. OCTBRE 1856. A wonderful and staggeringly pretty piece showing a four colour franking and without doubt one of the finest and most attractive items in Mexican classic, or indeed all, philately. Cert.
