    Tabasco 4 r. carmine, a diagonally bisected example and 4 r. carmine quadrisected example, used on September 24, 1859 entire letter to pay the 3 reales rate from Tabasco to Vera Cruz, tied by oval S. JUAN BAUTA. DE TABASCO datestamp (Schatzkes fig 1554) in black. A great rarity showing two different 'Splits' of the same stamp on entire letter. Cert. Jaretzky (1985).
