    1 r. yellow, 'Vera Cruz' District name overprint, a fine used vertical pair on small piece, lower stamp being Plate III, Position 55 on the sheet of 200, showing the variety '4 Reales inverted Correos Mejico ribbon across Hidalgo's Eyes in Red'. A fresh and fine pair of this rarity as illustrated in Vannotti's article in 'Mexicana' (April 1989, pages 107-108).
