    Jalapa ½ r. blue, a very fine horizontal strip of four used on reverse of April 12, 1861 cover to Vera Cruz, all tied by two strikes of circular FRANQUEADO JALAPA datestamps (Schatzkes fig. 596) in black. A late usage of the issue, the first Invoice for the 1861 issue being despatched a week later. A fresh and fine cover.
