    Zacatecas 1856 (Oct 28): ½ r. blue (a greenish shade), single example used on entire letter to Villaneuva tied by straight line ZACATECAS handstamp in black (Schatzkes fig. 1849) with front panel (and inside) showing oval 'Admon. Pral. Del Renta Del Papel Sellado / De Zacatecas' handstamp in black. A charming and scarce example of the first rate tariff, annotated as purchased from J.M. Bartels in 1925.
