    1 d. green, a fine example on 1873 cover to Hartford, USA tied by bold strike of oval framed ISLAY handstamp in black, used with Great Britain 1867/80 3 d. rose plate 10 (2) tied by heavy strike of the Islay British Post Office 'C42' obliterator in black. Reverse with corresponding ISLAY single ring datestamp (Nov 22) and two strikes on front of British P.O. PANAMA cds (Dec 4) of transit. 'N. Y. Steamship / 10' arrival (Dec 17) alongside and manuscript 'Due 10' in red crayon. Some arrival docketing in manuscript over the British adhesives but a very scarce combination cover from this small Office.
