    20 c. brown, a fine horizontal pair used on 1878 registered cover from Huancavelica to Lima, cancelled by 'Huancavelica / Peru' cds (Jan 2) and by one of the five registration 'Flower' handstamps in black. Framed CERTIFICACION handstamp at left. Reverse with full docketing of sender and inside the cover 'Lima / Distrito' cds in blue and arrival notations of receipt (Jan 14). Edge faults largely due to the registration method but an attractive and very rare usage.
