    Stato Pontificio 1854/55: Entire letters to England (2) from Clifford correspondence, 1854 entire endorsed 'Inglaterra via di mare' and franked by 1852 3 b. bistre brown horizontal pair and 5 b. rose, two single examples and a horizontal pair pre-paying a 26 bajocchi rate, tied by 'Roma' datestamps (Oct 31) and by red Marseille transit cds, the 5 b. all with scarce oily impression; also an 1855 entire underpaid with three 1852 5 b. rose (creased single and horizontal pair) used from Rome - underpaid and charged '3 s./7 d.' in manuscript to pay. Fresh and very attractive entires.
