1862/63: 50 c. green and 10 c. blue, both large even margined examples, used on 1863 registered front of cover to Popayan tied by BOGOTÁ pearled handstamps in black, the cover surrounded by seven strikes of '0' markings in red to denote registration and further struck with italic 'Certificacion à Bogotá / Salio en 23 de Set. de 1863' in red with dates in manuscript. Docketed arrival in manuscript on reverse (Oct 5). The 50 centavos is a great rarity on cover. A fine and spectacular cover for the connoisseur.rnrnProvenance: Collection 'Gordon N.
