    1878/79: Dom Pedro White Beard 20 r. violet (2) and 80 r. lake (2) used on double rate 1883 cover from Rio de Janeiro (June 23) to Sao Paulo, tied by segmented cork cancellations in black. Some minor tropicalisation but an unusual make-up of the 200 reis rate.
