    1 d. green, a fine example used on 1869 cover from Callao to Genova, Italy tied by bold strike of "C38" obliterator of the British P.O. in Callao with corresponding datestamp on reverse (Dec 28). Thence via London with datestamp on reverse in red (Jan 21, 1870) and framed 'GB / 1F 90c.' accountancy mark applied in black. Calais transit and handstruck charge '14' in black.on front and 1870 Postage Dues 40 c. and 1 lire applied and tied by Genova (Feb 3) datestamp. File fold affects the 1 lire but an attractive and appealing cover.
